Awkward point during the trip.

I really miss Pune, India. Though I might have forgotten plenty about the trip, the friendships i forged was definitely something I can truly remember loving.

I was never close to Zarchi and Wendy before this trip. I knew they existed in school but never really did talk to them. They definitely fit into my group of lame friends and I love that. Wendy with her 'cuteness' and Zarchi with her 'gullibleness'.

Becoming friends with my juniors who I never knew existed was also something I loved(Jia Hui, Marie, Vivien and Nijel). They managed to make me smile during the trip. Rock on hip-hop bud(Jia Hui).

The people who have been my good friends since the start of school also made the trip enjoyable(LihWei, Pin Rong and Nabilah).

My two India Buddies also Tejas and Ritesh. I had a funtime staying at their house. Their families were very warm and their houses were beautiful in their own way. One brought me to experience the town at night and the other brought me to see the valleys on a hill, which had spectacular views as we were there during sunset.

This trip proved to be a memorable one.

I feel like joining dance in JC, preferably Malay Dance. The best I know is National Junior College. The video above is their SYF 2009 Piece. I can't hear music in the beginning, and I know that dancing without music is very difficult. A lot of timing and instinct is required.

Anyway, I had this photoshoot with my friends. We were wearing my sunglasses and acting like a group of 'IT' people.Shall post the pictures soon.

I think the jokes in The Suite Life on Deck are very funny. Especially how smart London Tipton is. In the episode Lost at Sea, she acts like she is in her own world so that she would not need to do any labour. I like her dumb-intelligence... Cody and Bailey are just so mushy in a cute and funny way. People would have to love them being together.

Judith loves watching Glee. She also acknowledged me in her Facebook status for recommending her the show. Glee is really a good show. People really should watch that show.

I watched the third episode of Gossip Girl recently and thought that Chuck and Blair are so compatible. He actually bought for her a hotel. The had a bit of a squabble during the episode and they actually hatched a plan to break up Carter and Serena. Carter Baizen has the biggest eyebags I had ever seen. It is like he had not sleep for a week. Tyra Banks and Hilary Duff would come in the next episode. Tyra is acting as the very dramatic actress and Hilary is acting as Dan's love interest.

IM DEFINITELY GOING TO BUY KAIQIAN'S PENCIL BOX!!

In reply to (name) who had made a comment in my tagboard, I would like to say that what you had said may not be true. It seems like the title of the production is Dance Reflections: Body Language.

"Since the dawn of time, human communication has been one of the most studied, yet least understood phenomena in society. It is fluid by nature, and now modern technology has rendered it even more complex and dynamic. Or has it?

Body Language by NUS Centre For The Arts' six dance groups explores the relationship between people and the technologies that mediate their interaction. This production not only expresses the meaning of communication in both ancient and modern Asian context, but ultimately questions our humanity in the face of modernity" - extracted from page 3 of the programme booklet.

From the extract, it states that the six dance groups are supposed to delve and explore the relationship between people and the technologies that mediate the interaction. The production is supposed to express the meaning of COMMUNICATION. By right, aren't the dances supposed to show and picture the meaning of COMMUNICATION.

Definition of Theme(n) - a UNIFYING or dominant idea. In the booklet, the unifying idea is expressing the meaning of communication, which is supposed t be shown by all dance groups. If the theme was body language, isn't that expressing something through body movements a.k.a Dance. Is the programme implying that the common theme is Dance? Dance is all about conveying messages through body movement, am i right to say that?

If you are saying that the Theme was changed to Body Language, why doesn't the booklet really explain body language, but communication instead? Was it just poor logistics that everything was not done in time?

I actually feel guilty to put someone through all that little "Oh no! What have i done!?" phase. I am so sorry Mrs Van der Woodsen. What you did was not fully wrong. It was somehow my fault too that you mad such a comment. 30 hours. Should have made it 30 weeks. That would have been torture. JKJK. I am not mean am I? Haha.

Anyway, I went for my sister's dance performance entitled NUS Dance Reflections: Body Language. The concert featured all the dance groups of the NUS. My sis, Zakiah Fatin Binte Saiful Imran, was in the Ilsa Tari group a.k.a malay dance. She was the girl who ketuk botol(hit bottles) in the beginning. The theme was Communication and she somehow communicated with the man on the other side.

It was contemporary so a lot of freestyle i guess. Lighting was very good. Much better than all the SYF dance presentation groups, the dance technique and lighting I mean. Her cikgu tarian, cikgu Osman Hamid had a solo where he was in this plastic tube. My sis commented that it looked like a condom. Haha. The condom ada lubang so the air kept on escaping and it became flaccid. There was the scary part where dancers were in bridge position and were walking about. Ive always thought the track ends abruptly, like it was missing a final beat of the next bar. I dont know. And then it ended with Cikgu Osman praying to God. Communication to God, get it?

The Dance Synergy was Ballet. Boom Boom Pow in the second half of their dance. A thorn among the roses. He did this impressive thing when he jumped and rolled across the three quarters of the stage.

Chinese dance was yawn. The usual Tibet dance with the sleeves.

Dance Blast, hip hop. Energetic. Okay I guess. I am not really a fan.

Indian Dance. Ermm it felt like I was watching a half-an-hour long performance. Though it was half of that.

Dance ensemble was the best I guess. Utilizing the screen behind to make the stage look much more deeper. Walking backwards...

Ranking:
1) Dance Ensemble
2) Malay Dance
3) Synergy
4) Blast
5) Chinese Dance <-- No link to communication
6) Indian Dance

Gotta love the Single Ladies dance. LOL at Asrul for thinking that Kurt - the guy that does the kick at the end - is a girl. Glee has always been a trending topic after it airs because the show simply rocks. I like how the show beats high school stereotypes
