This video is for those who went to NUS UCC yesterday and missed the first item by Millenia Institue.

Yesterday, I personally watched the best dance presentation in my life. Firstly, I would like to praise our class' Chinese Dancers for the splendid performance. Eventhough I had watched your performance for quite a number of times, I thought your performance yesterday was beyond normal. Why so? I think the loud music, accompanied by the fabulous lighting design elevated the presentation to a higher level.

We were presented with many different types of dance. There was International, Malay, Chinese and Indian Dance. I think Catholic High presented a very fesh dance. Although it was full of people walking aimlessly around the stage, it addressed the current problem of the economic crisis.

I loved the Malay Dance presented by Si Ling secondary school. It was a contemporary dance with a standard step throughout the dance. There was a solo where only one person was on the stage and the spotlight shone on him. He even shout.

Another dance loved by many was by Cedar Girl's secondary school. It started with the girls getting electrocuted and becoming lifeless beings, somewhat like zombies. They messed up their hair and constantly banged their heads.

Well, we hope that our presence in the hall had motivated all of you to dance with greater feel and passion. The dance was different. Eventhough there was no Avatar, Large pieces of frabic, briefcases, paper or even plastic wrapping as props, I am sure the dance impacted many in a good way.

I had the best experience today. School begins at 8.30 on Wednesdays. When I woke up, I realised that it was already 8.10. I panicked and rushed to my toilet and showered with cold water. A reason why i woke up late was the weather was very cool and I wanted to sleep in slightly longer. As soon as I finished my 2-minute shower, i grabbed my crumpled clothes from the laundry pile and packed my bag. I was in such a rush. I quickly gathered everything and rushed out.

I prepared to run to school by warming up in the lift. I did some leg stretches and few other warm-ups. As soon as the lift doors opened, I dashed out to make sure I would not be late for school. The run was not tiresome since the weather was cooling. Gladly, I managed to reach school in time.

When I reached class, I looked like a mess with my crumpled clothes. Someone even thought that my shirt was crumpled as I had to get rid of the water from my "wet" clothes my squuezing them. I could not believe I managed to get ready for school in 15 minutes.

First idea: Hmm lets act childish and so called cute by pretending to be characters from a children's show...

My impression: Are u serious? U want people to act as "Funky-junky", "Hippy", "Yaya"(the papaya) and "Hoe"? Hmmm... Dumbanddumbererandallhis/heraccomplisessaywhat??

Second idea(hope it is not the last) : Let us dance to different subjects and add a lame slide feature at the front...

My impression: First of all, the screen and projector take a long time to set up... Spotlights at different parts of the stage?? Hey people! This aint no University Cultural Centre. The stage not that big. U shine the spotlight on one part everybody can be seen. U gonna put 40 people on stage? Above that, the lights arent able to move.

I like how the same things happen over and over again
History is going to repeat itself...

1. A stupid idea has been given
2. People do not like it
3. People do not attend practices
4. Coordinator Vents up and starts scolding
5. The waterworks set off
6. Teacher comes
7. Everybody gets fed up
8. (not in most cases) A better idea comes

If i am not mistaken, the people who think of the ideas are the same people who thought of last year's initial assembly programme class presentation. WHICH HAD BEEN SCRAPPED and REPLACED! It also got the attention of our fellow level mates for being good. Thanks to the idea of our class monitor...

I know the idea is not final but come on, think about it again. If you can predict that many would not like it, SCRAP it...
